Life is not how you always expect it to be, things change, things happen so very unexpectedly and at the weirdest times, you can find that someone even when you already have someone in your life.

Hamari Adhuri Kahaani, is a Hindi tragic romance movie that talks about a lonely woman named Vasudha, who lives with her son and dedicates her life to him, that works in a hotel as a florist.

One day the owner of the hotel which is basically her boss, comes by and he becomes impressed with her work as she was the only one who went looking for him when he sounded a fake fire alarm, to see who would give his life for the job or to save others and it was she who vacated the building and went to knock his door.

He offered her a higher place by his and to move her to his big hotel in Dubai as he wanted her to be the new manager, but she declined as she wasn't looking to leave her son behind, then she learned from the police that her husband who has been missing for 5 years is involved in a terrorist group and has killed 5 American Journalists. Scared for her son and herself she in roles him in a boarding school and reconsiders the job offer of Aarav Ruparel, who later on falls in love with her, and they begin a love story.

However this love story is incomplete, because she returns back to India to finish her divorce papers thinking her husband is gone forever and to check up on her son, yet she find her husband hiding at their house and gets scared and she forgets everything and tries to help him escape as she feels he is still her husband and that marriage is sacred and believes her husband Hari side of the story that he was kidnapped and forced to do all those terrible things which ends up being the truth.

The story here is not in the adultery she committed or the marriage vows that was broken, it is in the feelings and emotions of a woman and the things she suffered and dealt with as she was forced to marry Hari by her father and managed since then a hard life with him and after him she suffered as a single mother to their son.

This is a story of sacrifice, love and higher emotions of forgiveness. To understand what I'm talking about you need to watch the movie, I just mentioned the plot above, but that's not all of it, this movie contains a bigger complicated story than it seems to be.

I can't say anything bad about the movie, as it was spectacularly captured and directed there are scenes in this movie of flower fields that are just breath taking and heart warming as there are many scenes that are tear jerking. All you need is a box of tissues and you're good to watch it.

This movie is directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Mahesh Bhatt under the banner Vishesh Films and Fox Star Studios. The film stars Emraan Hashmi, Vidya Balan, and Rajkummar Rao. It is based on the love story of Bhatt's parents, Nanabhai Bhatt, Shirin Mohammad Ali and his stepmother.

The music in this movie is beautiful and it just completes and captures the emotions so very perfectly. At one point I couldn't wait to watch it listening to the first song release. Emraan Hashmi is a brilliant actor that just makes you melt with tears when looking into his dark brown eyes, his emotions are so intense you could feel it deeply cutting into your soul.
