Bewitched by the animation, came for the colors stayed for the music.
This is not an ordinary animation movie, this is a revolution for the KPop music and movies, the storyline is so strong and emotional it got me in tears by the end of it, in tears and all choked up unable to take my eyes off the screen, totally hooked and in love.
The story is not just great, it's incredibly written and the music is out of this world, I want to keep listening to the songs and jam to it, it is extremely addictive and really good, I want more! No I NEED MORE!!
The various differences between Zoey, Rumi and Mira the girl group "Huntr/x", is so inclusive to everyone's feelings that you have to relate to at least one of them if not all three. They are talented and witty, and you can almost forget that they are animation and not actual artists. Arden Cho who plays Rumi has shown how voice actors can go beyond to deliver the feelings on screen without being seen.
To add to that the group Saja Boys are the perfect boy band group, from their hairstyles, to their outfit choices, the way they move and dance, to the simple yet adorable names, starting with the leader Jinu to Mystery, Abby, Romance, and Baby. The boys are supposed to be demons in disguise to collect souls for the underworld, but they caught our hearts instead.
The musical numbers performed and the words used in the lyrics are so moving, empowering and strong, they captivate the audience inside and outside the screen, you cannot not fall in love with them while they're performing their hit "Soda Pop" it's infectious and so catchy that you'll find yourself dancing to it.
There were 12 songs performed throughout, including 9 original songs that were written specifically for the movie that just delivers the premise perfectly, from Golden, to Take Down, Your Idol, Free..and more they just hit the right notes with the vocals.
It is as I said a revolution to the music industry, as fans are awaiting to learn if there is going to be a sequel to the movie, as they want more, however, Netflix hasn't officially confirmed whether KPop Demon Hunters could get a sequel, yet there is hope still.
I do believe that if this movie gets another sequel I'd be the first in line to watch, as well as it is going to break records if they continue this strong rhythm, as it has already charted globally at number one, with more than 33 million views in just two weeks, reaching the top 10 in 93 countries.
